News from Deborah:

Hello everyone!

A brief update to let you know that I am busy in the studio, working on my second solo CD, this time with a great producer and good friend, Ken Rich.

About a year ago, Mike and I heard our friend, the fabulous John Putnam, playing with William Hart Strecker down at the Rodeo Bar in NYC. I really liked their intact band sound and asked John if he thought this band could come record my songs with me. From there, the wheels were in motion. What I didn’t know was that Ken, the bass player in the band, was also a studio owner and record producer!

The basic tracks were recorded at Mission Sound Recording in Brooklyn with engineer Oliver Straus. The overdubs and vocals are all happening at Ken’s studio, Grand Street Recording in Williamsburg.

We are working on ten original songs of mine, some with strings, some with backing vocals, some horns and even a few woodwinds!

I will post music as soon as possible.

I do hope you will enjoy the music as much as I have enjoyed making it for you!

My album will feature:
Deborah Berg on vocals and acoustic guitar
Ken Rich on bass
John Putnam on guitar
Andrew Sherman on keyboards
Frank Vilardi on drums

Much Love,
Deborah

P.S. Counting the three Eye to Eye albums, this project will be my fifth CD!
